And yes, FL does not allow for a subscribing witness notarization. The discussion of witnesses needed for loan document signings, is usually about the recording requirements for the deed or mortgage.

I occasionally get pushes for something called a "witness closing" via snapdocs. What kind of job is that exactly? Are they just asking for a notary to show up and witness the signing?
