It just has to be taken down and in the parking lot an hour after sunset and can't be setup until midnight the night before use. I'm kinda a nube though. Hopefully some of the more seasoned fowlers will say the same.

After setting up on the river this morning and not having any luck on honkers we hit a field tonight to see if our luck would change. As luck would have it it did. 2 guys 4 shots 4 birds. Love it when they are back winging in the spread. Nice sunset as we were picking up decoys.

Sunday, I saw 7 bunches of Teal in the 45 minutes after sunset == bunches of 3 to 11 ... so they are arriving. Another caution::some of these areas have some pretty deep pools that are a result of taking dirt to build the federal flood levees.

Good day for gull viewing though. Maybe the DNR should add these birds to the Saylorville count just to make it look better.
