chow chow and its smell by Guest » Thu 10:48 am Hello all! I have a small problem. recently i decided to buy a chow chow puppy. I did all kind of research about them, but when i called a friend of mine that kinda knows his way around dogs, he told me that he wouldn't advise me to get one because they smell really bad.

The mother and father were on site, as well as the grandparents. The subject of interest is about the cream chow's tongue pigmentation or tongue coloration. Our cream chow (named Suka), has a considerable amount of pink on her tongue. I understand that everyone of the world associate chow chows with the blue black tongue.
Re: Where does your Chow sleep? by chow fancier » Wed 11:16 pm Cinder sleeps on the bed for at least part of most nights, then on the floor, preferably on a throw rug most of the time. Teddy sleeps on one of his dog beds or on a throw rug. When they come inside hot they lay on the floor in front of an air conditioning vent.
I have read somewhere that Chow Chows have smaller hearts than that of your average dog and that deaths in Chows can occur due to the vet determining the amount of aneasthetic given by the dogs weight, therefore giving them too much in some cases. And due to thier smaller hearts this gives rise to problems.
