I see a rim cleaner/packer has been added to the sharpshooter that I don't recall. I would like to try one of these reloaders, but scraping matches for priming compound leaves me a little cold. On the other hand, we have someone on the site that has been using it to make priming compound for centerfire primers, and I guess they work okay.
if im building a 741 clone, or a Colt SP1 HBAR clone (Delta-style sharpshooter or standard HBAR), do i need that large forward assist button? I previously owned a factory 741 upper. It came with a large clipped forward assist. That's a sample size of 1 though so I would be careful about reading in to that too much.
Marty's Arms molds require you to trim every one, as do the old sharpshooter molds. I can certainly understand why some might not like to trim sprues. You are getting 18 pellets every drop with a Marty's verses 6 with the lee, 3 times the pellets every single drop. The catch is you still have to trim the sprue from the Marty's at the end.
