With help from Definitive Healthcare’s HospitalView, we created two lists: one of the largest IDNs in Georgia based on the number of affiliated hospitals and another of the most financially successful Georgia IDNs based on NPR.
Targeting large health systems allows for greater distribution of a product or service, and IDNs with high NPRs may be looking to upgrade or expand their services. Using the Definitive Healthcare HospitalView product, we created lists of the highest-earning and largest IDNs in North Carolina.
The Definitive Healthcare HospitalView product tracks around 900 active health systems. These systems own or manage over 6,000 hospitals for an average of around six hospitals per health system. More than half of the 10 largest health systems in the U.S. (based on the number of patient discharges) are Catholic-owned or affiliated.
Using Definitive Healthcare’s HospitalView, we created two lists: one of the largest IDNs in Maryland based on their number of affiliated hospitals and another ranking Maryland IDNs based on their net patient revenue, or the amount of money they receive from patient services. Both of these metrics can be used in your targeted marketing efforts.
Net patient revenue (NPR) is one way to rank the financial success of a healthcare organization. Calculated by subtracting patient discounts from total patient revenue, NPR can provide insight into the financial strength of a hospital. Below, we’ve listed the top 25 hospitals in Minnesota by net patient revenue in 2022. The data is sourced from Definitive Healthcare’s HospitalView product.
Using Definitive Healthcare’s HospitalView, we created a list of the largest IDNs in New York based on their number of affiliated hospitals. The data is aggregated from affiliated facilities based on data from the Medicare Cost Report and is based on the most recent 12-month interval tracked in our database.
