Fake Comcast Call - Scam Hello. This is an announcement to fellow Xfinity customers to bring awareness to a bot scam that happened to me. Before I go in depth, I have a BA in Software Engineering. I will try to keep to tech talk low so it is easily understandable.
Comcast has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have spent 30 minutes trying to speak with a live agent and continuously get put into an endless loop.
As a Comcast/Xfinity customer since 2003, I now feel that Xfinity no longer respects its customers. I have two accounts with Xfinity—today, I decided to cancel one. In the future, I may close all accounts and stop being an Xfinity customer. If Xfinity does not respect you, should you still be their customer?

Spoof call from Comcast Just got a call from the Xfinity Number - 1-800-266-2278. Guy with an indian accent, calling me from a loud call center. Said something about my firewall being compromised. Asked me to go to the modem - he said he would send a signal to it. I told him I don't see any blinking lights on the modem.
