We used to always get the ATT&T cruise pkg. Recently off Explorer only having the Voom Surf-n-Stream and easily put my iPhone on air plane mode and used wifi calling for texts. Worked out well.

From what I can tell the ships internet access is over $300 so we definitely aren't doing that 🙂 Just wondered if there was a cheaper way than spending $50 for at&t plan. Plus an extra phone on the plan is only $5. If we have to make a call while at sea it is $1.99 a minute from your cabin. We have found that you can say a lot in one minute- lol!
