I see no "Pros" to doing it whatsoever. If you're doing-it just to be legal based-upon this current ATF edict (that's going-to-be overturned) then how do you intend to maintenance the can over time? What happens if you get a baffle strike? What happens when you burnout the can?
Pros: 42+ mpg pretty easily Cheapish for a new vehicle Haul a decent amount of stuff. 4x8 sheets of plywood are easy. There are only pros and no cons to a Wylde chamber in an AR15 barrel. Except maybe needed to clean the chamber at some shorter interval than a 5.56 chamber... and that interval is really long. Full auto? Don’t know, but I’d want the looser 5.56 chamber.
Pros: Sweet shooter with very manageable recoil and plenty of aftermarket support. Cons: As others have mentioned, fairly slick grip frame and it's a tiny bit big for what it is. I will be stippling mine when I return home from overseas, so the slickness of the grip frame will no longer be a problem.

You can fit six instead of five in a small frame cylinder. It can be a loud blast but not bad on the recoil factor. It directly competes with not going anywhere .357 and .38 cartridges. Pros are that it's a solid frame and slide, and a good shooting pistol for the price. Cons are that it doesn't have the fancy machine work of the Mil-Spec (beveled edges, lowered/flared ejection port), and the sights are GI.
I'm contemplating building a big bore 10.5" SBR/pistol upper for shooting suppressed. I can't decide between 450 Bushmaster and 458 Socom. It seems that there is a better selection of 450 Bushmaster ammo available, but I reload so that is not really that big of a deal. What are the pros and cons of each and which would you choose and why?
