Since then, the U.S. Capitol has been built, burnt, rebuilt, extended and restored. The Capitol that we see today is the result of several major periods of construction; it stands as a monument to the ingenuity, determination and skill of the American people.

Theatre Frisco began as the Frisco Community Theatre and owes its start to Jack Scott. In 1984 Scott approached Doug Zambiasi, the Frisco Community Education director, with the idea of doing a show.

Theatre Frisco is very proud that since moving into the Discovery Center, everyone involved with a production gets paid. This includes actors, stage crew, musicians, and the production team (designers, directors, choreographers, etc).

Theatre Frisco strives to produce high-quality, professional standard theatrical programs to entertain and enrich the citizens of Frisco and surrounding communities. Our hope is to engage, inspire, and educate through the cultural force of theater. We create theater that shares the diversity of life experiences through storytelling.

Theatre Frisco supports diversity in its casting and encourages all ethnic and gender identities to audition. All actors, with the exception of Will and Josephine, must play younger and older versions of their primary character. As noted, with the exception of lead characters, everyone serves as ensemble and other characters throughout.
