Good morning, all. My PNC Bank accounts have not downloaded any transactions since 2/23/2026. I am using Direct Connect.
Received this OL-297-A error now for the last two days with PNC Bank. All of my other accounts are connecting and downloading just fine.
PNC Bank provides our account information to a third party company called Direct Connect and Quicken downloads our account information from Direct Connect, not PNC.
Same as everyone else. PNC. Looks like connection working but no transactions in this same timeframe. R66.23 is the latest it says.
But for the specific accounts below the PNC Bank - Direct Connect FI on the right side it clearly showed there is an issue with the downloads because of the 10/13/2025 last data date.
We are getting reports that users are unable to connect to PNC - Direct Connect because of an OL-297 error in Quicken Windows and -1202 error in Quicken Mac.

I agree this is a PNC problem, but both Quicken and PNC should be working to resolve the problems ASAP. Direct Connect is owned by Quicken….. but I am sure PNC screwed up the interface on their end with their recent "upgrade".
PNC seems to be working weekends, but apparently the department at Quicken that deals with this is only working Monday thru Friday and they are in a different time zone where per my PNC person doesn't start till around noon EST.
When I set up PNC Bank - Direct Connect via Advanced Options and selected Direct Connect I got the following results: All PNC accounts are now connected with DC. There were some duplicate transactions (not many for me) that needed to be manually deleted. Accurate Online Balances are now shown below the registers.
PNC will always send bill pays via ACH when they have the Payee's bank information (routing number, account number) in their system. When they don't have that information in their system, PNC will print and mail a check. With ACH payments the minimum lead-time from the process date to the delivery date is usually 3 days.
