The new PATCO fare vending machines [and fare gates]are in operation at most of the NJ stations. You can only get Philly tickets, and they only sell the 1 and 2 ride tickets.
Hi everyone, I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about Patco train operators salary, when they hire, how long training is, do they pay railroad retirement, etc? I've ridden the system several times but never had the opportunity to ask an actual operator. Thanks in advance for any knowledge you can share.
Patco should follow the lead of Washington DC, focus on small extensions to one or two stations every few years (on both sides of the river). I would think that the chance of success with federal funds is better than moving on a 100-200% expansion of service.
