The question is: why did the English adapt the name pineapple from Spanish (which originally meant pinecone in English) while most European countries eventually adapted the name ananas, which came from the Tupi word nanas (also meaning pineapple).

I want it flat and I’m gonna use non skid gel coat because the nonskid doesn’t even work when wet I busted my a$$ many times. But anyways yah the non skid route is 4000$ in just material is outrageous. That’s why I was looking for flat smooth fiberglass sheet 4x8 but it’s impossible to find.
