About Us The Savoy Company of Philadelphia was formed in 1901 and remains the oldest amateur theater company in the world dedicated to performing exclusively the works of Gilbert & Sullivan, including perennial favorites HMS Pinafore, The Mikado, and The Pirates of Penzance.
