SOME continues to address the dire need for safe and affordable housing in the District through our Affordable Housing Initiative. In 2005 we set a goal of creating 1,000 units of affordable housing because we know that housing is the solution to homelessness.
SOME welcomes both adult and youth volunteers who are willing to commit time in support of our mission. Opportunities include youth initiatives, holiday events, family and meal services, and more. No level of commitment is too small and all are encouraged to take a more active role in our organization.
Foods Foods is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal on food science published semimonthly online by MDPI. The Italian Society of Food Sciences (SISA) and Spanish Nutrition Foundation (FEN) are affiliated with Foods and their members receive discounts on the article processing charges.
