Besides your cooler on a Traverse is integrated into the radiator and uses that as the heat sink, so once you've been driving for more than 15 minutes or so your trans fluid will match your coolant temperature regardless. Speeding up the warm up process isn't necessarily a bad thing. Synthetic trans fluid doesn't start to break down til around 250.
