Ferrell Brand, a Texas-based Westernwear brand, has opened a new 23,000-square-foot distribution center in New Braunfels. The brand is most widely known for its pearl snap shirts for men, but also offers a variety of men’s apparel and accessories as well as products for women and children.
The story centers on Lonnie ‘The Hawk’ Hawkins (Ferrell), 2004’s number one golfer, who struggles on the back nine of his career to recapture his magic. His body says retire, but his heart says he’s not done yet.
He is known for his leading man roles in comedy films and for his work as a television producer. Ferrell has received various accolades, including six Primetime Emmy Awards and a British Academy Television Award, in addition to nominations for two Golden Globe Awards and for a Tony Award.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Ferrell became interested in performing while a student at University High School in Irvine, where he made his school's daily morning announcements over the public address system in disguised voices.
