Has any building in Brixton been emptier longer than this big eyesore on Pope’s Road? This large office building adjacent to Brixton railway station has been slowly rotting away on Pope’s Road for decades.

I thought it might be an idea to start a general thread for Brixton history, and to get it started, here's a photo of Atlantic Road in Edwardian times. I researched some of the shops in the picture - more here. Seeing this photo reminds me of how much Electric Avenue has fallen from grace.
