Computer running slow after Windows update I'm suddenly having some issues with my whole computer, these are my specs: I'm running Windows 8.1 on an AMD E-1 1500 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 1.48 GHz, 6GM RAM with 5.71 usable and 300GB free currently, with a 64 bit OS
Now a new update has arrived (oh joy) and a few more hours gone to install, but now my computer is so slow it takes between 25-30 to turn on, typically I get a messege that "windows is not responding" every update take a very long time to install and usually costs me an entire day of work and paying an outside techinicam to fix the speed problem.
