Edward James Orgeron Jr. (/ ˈoʊʒərɒn /; born ), nicknamed " Coach O ", is an American former college football coach. He was most recently the head football coach at Louisiana State University (LSU), a position he held from midway through the 2016 season until the 2021 season.
As it stands now, Orgeron was the head coach at Ole Miss, USC and LSU in his career, among many stops dating back to 1984. The 64-year-old is 67-47 overall and 51-20 at LSU, including a 15-0 mark in 2019 as the College Football Playoff national champions.
