We used to always get the ATT&T cruise pkg. Recently off Explorer only having the Voom Surf-n-Stream and easily put my iPhone on air plane mode and used wifi calling for texts. Worked out well.
The ATT international passport daily plan works off your phone plan messaging and data, and if you have a few port days in a row you really can make this a good investment. Plus an extra phone on the plan is only $5. If we have to make a call while at sea it is $1.99 a minute from your cabin. We have found that you can say a lot in one minute- lol!
The ATT basic cruise package is really easy to go over on your data. The cruise plus package is $100, and gives you more data but again you can go over if not careful. I've only accidentally picked up roaming charges on St John, never St. Thomas. However, to cover yourself, just go onto your ATT account and activate the foreign day pass option. Then at most you will only be charged $10 for a 24 hour period of roaming.

Still though my HP 3830 printer says it is connected to the network, but not connected according to the HP instantink site. I cannot print wirelessly either.
