  1. within a short period; before long: soon after dark. 2. promptly; quickly: Finish as soon as you can. 3. readily or willingly: I would as soon walk as ride. 4. Obs. immediately; at once; forthwith.

If something is going to happen soon, it will happen after a short time. If something happened soon after a particular time or event, it happened a short time after it. You'll be hearing from us very soon. This chance has come sooner than I expected.

I never told Lightroom Classic to sync the original - only the smart preview - so even after telling Lightrom (Cloud version) to store the album locally, it cannot access the original. I'm currently traveling, and I'll need to go back to my master catalog at home to get access to the original.

Hello - apologies if this has already been addressed. I am trying to place images into my Indesign file and they are coming in smaller than the original size. I tried to update yesterday thinking that it would fix it but it didn't. The problem I'm running into is that I'm trying to to place fil...

If you hit Ctrl-S, they are also saved to an XMP sidercar file, next to the original image. Lightroom Classic does not save an edited copy, like Photoshop or other traditional editors do. To get an edited copy (as tiff, or psd, of jpeg; you cannot save an edited raw file because then it isn't a raw file anymore) you need to export the image.
